Feature Requests

I found the layout of this wasn’t as intuitive as I expected. For example, I had to think about what SR stood for because it wasn’t immediately obvious to me (e.g., stuttering rating, severity rating). I also found having to scroll left and right wasn't a particularly natural flow. That said, I'm thankful I could see the information.

It would be great to be able to click on parts of the graph and get more information or to be able to track trends (e.g., mapping distractibility onto stuttering severity). I’m not sure whether the speech path has this feature and it’s the just me as the user who doesn’t?

I’m not a speech path, so this may not be helpful for them, but I wanted to record other information such as tiredness level, distractibility during the session, stimulus items used (e.g., flashcards, real-life objects, book), frequently recurring words when stuttering was observed (further analysis could be conducted on these), responsiveness to praise/rewards, severity ratings for stuttering on stimulus words only, etc. Perhaps an optional information section could be added? I realise many parents may not want to enter all that info. Perhaps it isnt necessary if the person stuttering has typical stuttering?

There’s no current option to edit your entry after you have entered data. If it’s important for someone to not be able to change the data once they’ve entered it, perhaps adding a ‘save’ button after you’ve entered the data (e.g., once you’ve entered everything you need to for a practice session) could help prevent data recording errors. There were multiple times I have clicked next or swiped and it’s saved the data and I can’t undo it. I needed to email the speech path to make changes. I also wasn’t sure whether SPEECH PATH could even make changes, so perhaps if you enter data it click save, it then says it has been recorded and contact your speech path for further changes if required.

When you’re entering the data, it would be helpful to have an editable date field. Alternatively, just display the date for the entry and then there is an option to change date if needed. There were days where I had decided on a severity rating but forgot to enter it because I didn't have my phone with me at the time. I tried entering it the following day and it came up as being on the next day, so then I had 2 ratings for the following day. There was also one occasion when I had a late night and went to bed at 1am but I couldn’t do my record for the previous day because it would enter for the present date only.
